The Lunula® Laser targets onychomycosis (nail fungus) through the use of two true laser beams (red 635nm and violet 405nm – monochromatic, collimated, and coherent). The two wavelengths trigger a photochemical reaction, producing Reactive Oxygen Species which is converted to Hydrogen Peroxide – a natural antiseptic that kills onychomycosis. In addition, the red 635nm wavelength induces the production of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) which is converted to Nitric Oxide – aiding the natural immune response in fighting the infection. This treatment is completely painless.

It is recommended that you receive 1 session weekly for 4 weeks of laser therapy for the treatment of fungal nails (onychomycosis).  Onychomycosis is highly contagious & can easily spread to other healthy nails, as well as other persons. Depending on the severity of onychomycosis & how many nails are affected, additional sessions, may be recommended.

Lunula® Laser is a safe, effective & pain free treatment option for onychomycosis. The system accommodates room for the whole foot to be placed into the machine at once. This allows for treatment of multiple nails at one time.
